When you begin Word, you start with a blank screen in the text area. To create a new document, simply begin typing.
Type the following paragraph in the text area, and DO NOT press the Enter key when you get to the end of a line:
Word processing is an easy way to create memos, letters, and other documents. Editing mistakes is very easy, too. Just move to the mistake and change it.
Press Enter
Notice that when you reached the end of the first line, Word automatically moved to the beginning of the next line. This is called word wrap. Never press the Enter key until you are at the end of your paragraph. Word will adjust your paragraph automatically to fit within the margins.
